19 year old woman underwent a rapid recovery breast augmentation utilizing Natrelle saline implants (filled to 350 cc). Form stable silicone gel implants are FDA approved for patients 22 years and older, thus this patient was not a candidate for silicone implants. Rapid Recovery Breast Augmentation and ERAS (Enhanced Recovery After Surgery) has revolutionized the recovery process following surgery. The majority of our patients do not need narcotics and in the case of breast augmentation, have the capacity to go out to dinner the night of surgery or drive their children to school the day after surgery.
